Dana Marcon, President

Dana is a medical-exercise specialist and life and business coach. She has been certified as a Level One Instructor since June, 2004 and has been practicing in CFQ since 2001. She is part of the QEII Health Sciences Pain Clinic Research project using CFQ Qigong with Fibromyalgia sufferers.

Paula Perron, Vice President

Paula Perron is a Registered Massage Therapist and Level One and Two CFQ Instructor offering regular workshops. She has been practicing CFQ since 2004 with extensive training in Canada and Malaysia. In her career as an RMT she integrates massage treatments with CFQ Qigong Healing.

Kelly Beale, R.M.T., Secretary

Kelly is a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Instructor in Level One CFQ.

Ken Swick, Treasurer

Ken has been counting currency since they stopped printing the two dollar bill. A CFQ practitioner since 2002. Ken is delighted with this post.

Sandra MacBeath

Sandra is a physiotherapist and has been practicing CFQ since 2004.

Trish is a psychotherapist in private practice.

Dr. Curtis Steele

Curtis is a psychiatrist. Curtis extended the first invitation to Chok Hiew to conduct a Level One training in Halifax in 2000 and has been practicing CFQ ever since. He is a certified CFQ Instructor in Level One and Level Two.

Brian Sutherland

Brian Sutherland PT is a licensed physiotherapist and member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He has over nineteen years of post-graduate experience in orthopedics, over eight years of those were as a director in private practice. He began the study of CFQ in 2000 and became certified as an instructor in 2003. He considers CFQ an important part of the integrative approach he utilizes.

The Rev. Jack Risk, M.A. (S.W.P.), M.Div., Past President

Jack served as Chair of the Interim Board and first elected Board of the Society from June, 2004 to August, 2006. Recently Jack relocated to Winnipeg to assume a new position with the Anglican diocese there, working with parishes on mission development. Jack has been a priest in the Anglican Church of Canada since 1979. Jack has been practicing CFQ since 2000 and was certified to instruct CFQ Level One in June of 2004.
